Cidrification:
Cider fermented for 6 months on fine lees.
Distillation:
Double distillation in an iron still.
Breeding:
In oak barrels of 1200 liters then 400 liters.
Ageing:
Blend of several vintages of Pays d'Auge Calvados over 30 years old.
Alcoholic Strength:
41% vol.
Tasting note
Color: Dark gold with coppery reflections, shiny and limpid
Nose: Aromas marked by floral and vegetal notes then development of animal and game aromas
Palate: Power in the mouth dominated by aromas of candied apple, vanilla, with a fine liquorice. Persistence.
