Elaboration:

Association of apple juice before fermentation and Calvados.

Breeding:

In 400-liter barrels with little tannin content. Calvados stops the fermentation of the apple must and the whole is stable at 17.5 °.

Ageing:

18 to 24 months in cask minimum.

Alcoholic strenght

17,5% vol.

Tasting notes:

  • Color: Dark amber

  • Nose: Candied fruits

  • Palate: Apple, prune and red fruit. Good balance between the alcoholic structure of the Calvados and the roundness of the apple

Tasting advice:

  • As an aperitif: Serve chilled or over ice.

  • During the meal: With a melon, foie gras.

  • For dessert: with a chocolate cake or a tarte tatin
