“A prestigious Calvados that reveals a candied and spicy character born from a complex blend of  various distillations.”

Cidrification:
Clarified cider, fermented for over 8 months, resulting in a total transformation of sugar into alcohol.

Distillation:
Double distillation in a pot still.

Ageing:
In 1200L new oak barrels followed by old 400L barrels

Duration of ageing:
Cuvée of different vintages of Calvados AOC Pays d'Auge that spent at least 18 to 24 years in oak barrels.

Alcohol content:
42% vol.

About the product:
Body: Deep golden colour with coppered reflections, shiny and clear.
Scent:  Mixed aromas of citrus fruit, sweet spices and brown sugar.
Taste: Rich and intense, smooth and slightly tannic structure. Flavours of bitter orange and spices. The finish is long and elegant with notes of pear and liquorice.

Serving suggestion:
After dinner: at room temperature in a glass for eau de vie.
