Cidrification:
Clarified cider, fermented for over 6 months, resulting in a total transformation of sugar into alcohol.

Distillation:
Double distillation in a pot still.

Ageing:
In 1200L oak barrels followed by 400L oak barrels.

Duration of ageing:
Cuvée of different vintages of Calvados AOC Pays d'Auge that spent 30 years or more in oak barrels.

Alcohol content: 
41% vol.

About  the product:
Body: Copper coloured, clear and shiny.
Scent: The first aromas are of bitter orange and ripe apples, they are followed by notes of sweet spices, mild pepper and ginger.
Taste: The taste is dominated by aromas of baked apples, liquorice and bitter chocolate, alongside which stands a powerful tannic expression.

Serving suggestion:
After dinner: at room temperature in a glass for eau de vie.
